Product Details
 Get better brake performance out of your brakes during spirited driving and track events with the Steeda Brake Cooling Kit. The proper way to cool brakes is from the inside of the hat out through the vanes.
Mounting the duct tube 2+ inches away from the rotor, as other designs do, results in a significant loss of cooling air when the duct ends. The air simply escapes through the gap without taking any heat with it. Also, since there is nothing there to direct it into the hat, most of the air that actually does some cooling simply bounces off the inside rotor face.
This causes the inside fire ring to cool more than the outside, which can cause rotor warping. To solve these problems, our engineers came up with a mount specifically for the Mustang spindle (not some universal piece) that directs air right to the eye of the rotor, ensuring that virtually all of the air goes through the vanes. The result is even cooling, lower rotor temperatures, and better brake performance than the rest.
The modular design allows you to upgrade your brakes and maintain maximum cooling by merely switching out the backing plate.
Made from aluminum and not steel like the rest for less weight. All mounting hardware is stainless too for more durability.
