Product Details 79-93 Quick Ratio Manual Rack :
15:1 Manual Steering Rack. Same ratio as factory V8 power steering, so effort will be higher.
79-93 Manual Rack w/ Economy Adapter: Includes adapter to connect to factory rag joint. Requires drilling out rivets on bottom flange of rag joint and bolting the adapter flange to the joint. 19:1 ratio (85-93 power rack is 15:1) Does not include steering shaft. Use kit #440-FR1890 for complete kit with shaft and universal joints.
79-93 Manual Rack w/ Install Kit: Includes manual rack, U-joint steering shaft and inner and outer tie-rod ends. Eliminates the "rag joint" on the steering shaft for more header clearance. Saves 30 pounds over power rack 19:1 ratio (85-93 power is 15:1)
94-03 Manual Rack w/ Install Kit no Shaft: Includes rack and universal joints to adapt rack, but no shaft. New u-joints are attached to existing shaft. Eliminates "rag joint" for more header clearance. Includes new inner and outer tie rods. 19:1 ratio (factory power is 15:1) Saves 30lbs on 94-95 mustangs.
