Steeda once again has taken their product to the next level. Steeda's new rear swaybar relocation bracket for S197 Mustangs are designed to move the rear bar more towards the centerline of the wheel which will allow Drag Racers to run 15 inch wheels.

Made from high strength steel and powdercoated for a long lasting finish. Comes with all locking hardware brackets. Now here is where the Steeda kit really shines. Unlike the competition which provides a button head square neck bolt that doesn't allow your swaybar bushing to sit flat and can cause binding issues. The Steeda kit comes with a counter sunk hole and bolt for zero interference and a "completed design".

Note: In very rare occurrences some aftermarket and OEM swaybars on 2011 and newer Mustangs may have issues clearing the lower control arm bracket while using this kit.

Product Reviews

Be careful if you have a different rear sway-bar. I have the sway-bar that comes with the FRPP handling pack, it uses different bushings and U-Clamps, the holes didn't line up with the Steeda bracket. I decided to use the stock bushings and U-Clamp from the stock rear sway-bar. Problem Solved.

I installed these on my 2009 GT500 so I could run a 15x10" drag wheel at the track. At first, I was cautious of relocation brackets due to some GT500 members using "other" brand brackets with inferior quality weak bolts. I went ahead and bought the Steeda kit, as it looked better designed than the competition. I was right, it was better designed, and fit correctly the FIRST time. The bolts were of great quality, and no fear of destroying the bolts due to over torquing them. They also will remain tight thanks to lock nuts, a big plus. Now I'm able to use 15" drag wheels, and have no added noise, harshness, or vibrations due to the relocation of the sway bar mount. This is the best kit you will ever use.
