CEL-Running Rich with CAI

would having a dirty air filter cause the check engine light to come on with the code for the engine running rich?  It usually comes on about once a month and I have it reset and wait for the next month.  A dealership has looked at everything on the car and can not find a reason for the CEL to come one.  The only mod I have is the velocity stack without the elbow.  Any Help would be greatly appriciated.

Are you sure you are running the tune that is just for the Steeda CAI without the proflow? A dirty air could do it, but it would have to be REALLY gunked up for that to happen. There is likely something causing that CEL, but probably not the CAI being dirty.
