Gear installation kit?

Hi my names Russell, and I own a 2007 Mustang GT with a manual transmission.  I have all Steeda parts: cold air induction with elbow and sct tune, throttle body spacer, strut tower brace, axle back exhaust, upper and lower control arms, and a panhard brace.  I have a tri-ax short throw shifter for the stock transmission and 4:10 gears that I'm waiting to have installed once the rain stops over here in Northern Cali.  My question is: Will I need a gear installation kit?  I've looked around a bit and found sites recomending these kits.  I bought the car new, and have put roughly 32k miles on it.  Are the components in these kits still new enough on my car that I wont need a gear installation kit?

for 4.10 gears you will need an installation kit for them. 3.73's come with an installation kit, but the 4.10's don't. You need the installation kit no matter the mileage on your car because they include the shims needed for a proper installation  of the gears.
