Product Reviews

Simple to install, relatively inexpensive, attractive, and highly effective...that's the mark of a great part. After installing a Boss 302 intake with Steeda cold air & tune on my 2011 5.0 GT, I had a bit of a problem: the chassis would twist a bit at the top end of every gear and try to pick up the front wheel...so, when shifting, the tire would come back into full contact with the road and jerk the steering wheel a little bit, so the car was kinda hairy to drive.

Since I knew this would clear my new manifold and still fit under the stock hood, I quickly ordered it. It has a very attractive silver powder coated finish, which looks great with my Kona Blue paint. Install took 10 minutes, and requires only the removal of the two inner nuts on both shock towers. Slip the strut brace over the studs & tighten the bolts back down, it's that simple.

After driving for a few days, the car is MUCH more composed at WOT. I'm not scared to rip gears anymore. There is a lot less lean when going through turns, and best of all, this brace has actually improved the ride. The streets are far from the best where I live, and bumps and stuff like railroad tracks doesn't jostle me around as badly. I would consider this an essential upgrade if your car either came brace-less from the factory or if you are installing the Boss 302 manifold and your old brace won't fit.

I have had this product on my 2010 V6 Base Mustang Coupe, and it really transformed the handling and responsiveness of the car.
Plus it is cool that it is an OE Ford Boss 302 Strut ... (Nice upgrade for little money).
