When Ford brought out the 2011-2014 S197 Mustang, they brought with it all-new engine designs and with that came new performance. The 3.7 liter V6 replaced the 4.0 liter V6 and put out more power than the 4.6 V8 while the new 5.0 Coyote V8 brought the car to entirely new numbers for naturally aspirated Mustangs.
